My next letter in "The Life of the Age to Come" series will be an exploration of the nature of our two bodies, our spiritual body and our physical body, how they are interrelated and how we learn to walk in both at the same time. We know very well how to walk in our physical body, but we are less skilled at functioning through our spiritual body.

But in order to have something real to share with you, I needed to know what God actually says about these things. I have done this type of word study many times over the years. In the past, I wrote out every verse in order to receive more fully the sense of what God is speaking. This time, I cut and pasted from Bible Gateway.

I have found, over and over, that a close look at what God actually says about most anything will always give a different perspective from what Christianity says He says. Sometimes you will discover that God says the opposite of what Christianity says.

But the close look at the word God speaks that comes from writing it out over and over is not sufficient by itself to impart a true understanding. Two other factors must also be there. We must also believe that what God speaks is true. And we must allow God to reveal to us the meaning of His words by His Spirit in us. Trying to "figure out" what it all means will take us nowhere.

I know that many Christians do not believe that what God says is true; they believe that what their church teaches is true. You can show them a clear verse in the New Testament, but it means nothing to them if their church does not teach what God says. I suspect there are no such "church" people receiving this letter.

But still, I have always greatly valued the word God speaks and have sought to plant it in my heart over the years of my walk with Him, as I know you have done as well. Writing or typing the word out does that best for me, and I have done it so many times over the years. Then, the words are there in my heart and mind for the Spirit of God to use as He reveals Christ to me.

And so here are ten Greek words with every verse in which they are used in the New Testament, grouped into four groups. The first study is heaven and earth. The second is Spirit and life. The third is flesh and body. And the fourth is mind (twice), soul, and heart.

But the thing that blew me away in this study was the junction of the words pneuma and kardia, the Spirit of Christ in the heart of the believer. In this letter I want to share some thoughts about what that means.

"Ananias, why has Satan filled your kardia to lie to the Holy Pneuma . . . ?" Acts 5:3

There is a direct and limitless connection between the Spirit of Christ, our hearts, and our mouth, but incredibly, the connection can go in the other direction as well.

In this letter, I simply want to share a number of thoughts that the Lord made real to me as I went through these verses in this way.

First, there is only one part of the human makeup that is evil in itself. Here is a very telling verse:

"And you shall love the LORD your God with all your kardia, with all your psuche, with all your dianoia, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment." Mark 12:30

The only part of man that cannot love God is the fallen human spirit. The heart can be hardened and dull or it can be filled with faith. The mind can be darkened or it can be renewed. The flesh can be immoral or filled with the revelation of Christ. None of these things are evil in themselves; they are simply reflective of that spirit that fills them - except the fallen human spirit.

Our fallen human spirit was evil in itself because by it the spirit of Satan was able to impart his breath into man. That human spirit is what God calls "the old man." God put that fallen human spirit to death in us at the moment that we were born again. And at the same moment He recreated a new spirit inside us. Our new human spirit is utterly immersed in God's spirit so that no meaningful distinction can be found between them.

Here is how I see that union. Everything that is found in God's Spirit has an expression in our spirit and everything that is found in our spirit is God's Spirit. We are one spirit with God. But God's Spirit goes far beyond our spirit, whereas our spirit is limited to us. In other words, a drop of water in an ocean of water is still a drop, it is not the ocean, yet there is no meaningful distinction between the drop and the water of the ocean. They are one.

And this union of God's Spirit and our spirit finds its dwelling and center in our hearts. Literally, in that organ we call the heart.

And so, as you read through these verses, you can see that the work of God through the time of our life on this earth is to turn our hearts from dullness to faith. That happens by the words that we speak with our mouth.

Going through difficult things cannot change our hearts. Speaking what God speaks while we go through difficult things does.

But you can see how the theological belief that our hearts are "deceitful and desperately wicked" can neuter and cut off every transformation that God wants to work in our lives. One who believes that Old Covenant theology can never speak in faith, personally and direct, what God says about us in the New Covenant.

But here is our problem as believers inside our physical bodies that remain dead because of sin. The shadow of that "old man" still casts itself across our minds and our hearts only because we are blind.

The pure in heart see God. To the pure, all things are pure. Our mind and conscience can be defiled only if we do not believe.

Believing comes by the words that we speak. Any time we say something negative about ourselves, we cut ourselves off from the Spirit of God in our hearts. That is, we dull our hearing and our seeing so that we are unable to see the Mighty and Glorious One who fills us with Himself. That is an incredible blindness. How on earth can we fail to see Him when He fills us full? Yet so it is, if we speak that which God does not speak.

[Speaking negatively about ourselves is different from glorying in our weakness that the power of Christ may rest upon us.]

Let's look at exactly what God says about the various parts of our make-up.

"As I entered His presence, He showed me something so impressive and frightening that I feared greatly. Although He specifically told me not to fear, even so, I could not feel completely at ease, for in almost unbearable pain and in great love, He tore open, as it were, His own spiritual form or body. Even though He had told me to look at it, I feared to and wanted to hide my eyes, for after this great tearing open of Himself I could see within. There I beheld something so terribly perfect in its holiness, that even the word perfection seems to sully it in my memory. This living something was very much a part of Himself, yet it seemed as though He were bringing forth, in a tremendous beginning, a new being from His own person. It was the same beginning in God that He had shown me several days before, in "The Place of a Beginning." For long eons He has waited to manifest this most Holy Thing which He is about to bring forth.

From this sweet, explosive breaking forth, He extended Himself over all; that is to say, He desired to manifest Himself, pouring this forth upon those of His own ones who were waiting upon Him. "In prayer, God lifted me up into Himself and again showed me the great storm of evil and persecution that is coming upon all the earth. For the first time He showed it to me as He sees it, and not as I have seen it through my own eyes. To Him this storm was a most beautiful and glorious working out of His perfect will, which was bringing forth great blessing and not the destruction I had hitherto seen. In spite of being such a tremendous storm, nevertheless, it was not evil at all, but was filled with goodness. Seeing the storm as God sees it took away all the horror I had felt before concerning it.

From: Daniel Yordy
www.dyordy.com

Right now I feel such a burning need to draw together, somehow, this mighty strand of seeing that we have no life but Christ with understanding the great cataclysm that God Himself is staging upon the earth.

The two go hand in hand. It is not possible to come into the full understanding of the gospel without sparking the final clash of the age. But I don't want my readers to think that understanding that clash in any way darkens the wondrous revelation of Christ as our life.

The problem we have, especially so many coming into the Christ-our-life word, is that we desperately want a God who is safe.

But, as CS Lewis pointed out, God is good, but He is anything but safe. He is the most dangerous and scary being in the universe. He risks everything on a knife's point - and He is our Father. He is gentle and kind, certainly, but if you want to see Him in action - just read Psalm 18. This is the One with whom we ride.

"In that day you shall know that I am in the Father and you are in Me and I am in you." Jesus

We ride in Him.

6 In my distress I called upon the LORD,
And cried out to my God;
He heard my voice from His temple,
And my cry came before Him, even to His ears.

7 Then the earth shook and trembled;
The foundations of the hills also quaked and were shaken,
Because He was angry.
8 Smoke went up from His nostrils,
And devouring fire from His mouth;
Coals were kindled by it.
9 He bowed the heavens also, and came down
With darkness under His feet.
10 And He rode upon a cherub, and flew;
He flew upon the wings of the wind.
11 He made darkness His secret place;
His canopy around Him was dark waters
And thick clouds of the skies.
12 From the brightness before Him,
His thick clouds passed with hailstones and coals of fire.
13 The LORD thundered from heaven,
And the Most High uttered His voice,
Hailstones and coals of fire.
14 He sent out His arrows and scattered the foe,
Lightnings in abundance, and He vanquished them.
15 Then the channels of the sea were seen,
The foundations of the world were uncovered
At Your rebuke, O LORD,
At the blast of the breath of Your nostrils.

16 He sent from above, He took me;
He drew me out of many waters.
17 He delivered me from my strong enemy,
From those who hated me,
For they were too strong for me.
18 They confronted me in the day of my calamity,
But the LORD was my support.
19 He also brought me out into a broad place;
He delivered me because He delighted in me.

Now listen, the "I" and the "me" in this passage is David, and in a certain way it has been you and me - but not any more.

Oh no. You and I are no longer the "me" that God comes to rescue.

You and I are in Jesus and Jesus is there in the Father. Do you see Him there? Do you see you there?

I am inside the God who rides upon the cherubs, and He is inside of me.

And oh, there is a ride just before us.

If you want to know why it is that darkness is engulfing America and the world you have no further to look than at yourself. You and I are the cause of it.

To insist with all of our hearts, with all the intensity of our beings, "Christ is my life; I have no other life," is to cast the accuser out of the heavens.

He prefers to stay hidden and unseen. Becoming visible is not his choice.

But this is the showdown and he is ready for it. All of his pieces are in place; God has made them ready.

Here is a truth, standing at the center of the gospel, that we must understand.

“Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know— Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death; whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it." Acts 2: 22-24

So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy. For the Scripture says to the Pharaoh, 'For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.' Therefore He has mercy on whom He wills, and whom He wills He hardens . . . What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, even us whom He called . . . Romans 9: 16-24

We see God in all things.

That does not make everything in the world "good."

Quite the contrary. What we see is that God has set the stage for the demonstration of the glory of His Son.

Most of Christianity wants God to end this thing with a whimper and a sigh. A "rapture" that takes them away to "heaven." He has no intention of stooping to their timidity.

I have no interest in "going to heaven."

I am already there.

To ride with God upon the cherubs of fire with the winds of the universe blowing through my hair is a hidden desire in my heart, no different than my little boy's need to race down the street on his bike.

It is to know that when 10,000 people drop dead all around me, I ride in God.

It is to know that when the US government turns openly vicious and cruel as the beast that it is, I ride in God.

It is to know that as war and pestilence and death sweep the earth, I ride in God.

It is to know that as roving bands of cannibals, desperately searching for food go down my street, I ride in God.

It is to know that as radio-controlled, genetically-engineered transhumans begin to multiply upon the earth, I ride in God.

It is to know that as Satan and his demons materialize upon this planet, God and I have caused it, and I ride in God.

There is inside of you and me a Word that created the universe, a Word that faced Death and defeated it, a Word that triumphs over all of its enemies - all who cry: "Did God indeed say?"

But look at me. Here I am. Too emotionally shattered and physically weak to hold down full-time work, sitting here in my chair with my feet resting on a cushion, typing words onto my computer screen at eleven o'clock in the morning.

Are they just words? And why do I say this?

I suspect that most of you who read this letter are not all that different from me.

We are weak, each in the way God has made us weak.

And here is the incredible dichotomy.

If we were strong, we would not know Him.

But being weak, and knowing Him, He commands us to say, "I am strong."

Let us burn the bridges behind us. Let us cast aside the need to be humanly "sane."

He has spoken as a whisper in our hearts. Yet that Word is the same Word that raised Jesus from the dead. Let that Word come out of our mouths as the mightiest shout the universe has ever heard.

"Grace!" "Grace!"

"And her child was caught up to God and to His throne."

From: Daniel Yordy
www.dyordy.com

". . . Rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ." 1 Peter 1:13

Grace is, first, divine enablement. Grace and the anointing are very much similar. They are the ability of God Himself inside of us that enables us to do what we could not do without God filling us. Grace is inward, anointing is outward. Grace enables us on the inside to know and walk with Him, the anointing enables us on the outside to minister life and peace to others.

Grace is the normal state of being the image of God. As I share in the What Is Man series, we are God's superhero suit. We are the clothing, the skin of God that makes an invisible God visible. Without God, we are an empty suit, discarded and useless. Filled with God, all that God does He does in and through us. We make an invisible God known to His creation. That is our purpose. That is God's intention before ever He created the worlds.

Grace is the central dynamic of the revelation of God. Grace is the ability to be the dwelling place of Almighty God. Grace is the capacity to contain all the fullness of God; grace is the ability to release Him in a river of life that heals all things; grace is the power to bring all things into submission under His feet.

Grace has nothing to do with "going somewhere."

Grace, and the gospel, have everything to do with the One who is coming into us, to take up His full and eternal residence in us - as individuals, yes, but equally in us as a many-membered body - His temple.

Now, there is a fascinating dynamic in God. He is the God who is, who was, and who is to come. All three, all at the same time.

Peter speaks of a grace that is to come. Yet he also says that we, right now, have all things pertaining to life and godliness. Paul also says that we possess all things, yet he seems to contradict himself by saying that we groan for that which we do not have.

God is a dynamic tension. For all eternity, He will be to us the God who IS, first, then also the God who was, and the God who is to come.

Many of us don't like such tension, such contradiction. We would rather sew it up into a single bag so that we can say, "Aha, I've got it - and then write our systematic theology."

Christ IS in me AS I am right now in all of His fullness, in all of my weakness.

Yet, without leaving my full knowledge of that reality behind for one second, yet I cry with all expectation of hope, "Even so, come, Lord Jesus."

A million years from now, when my knowledge and revelation of God will be a million times more than it is today, yet still, He will be the God who Is, and who Was, and who Is To Come.

Most Christians know Him as the God who was and the God who is to come. They do not know Him as the God who IS. They know some things about what He did 2000 years ago, they pretend to look forward to going to heaven, yet if you offer them the opportunity to go to heaven, they will fight you to the bitter end to stay on this earth. They will even kill people who try to send them to heaven!

There is no faith in knowing anything about the God who was and the God who is to come.

Faith and grace and all joy are found only in the God who IS - in us, in our weakness, in all fullness, right now. One with Him and He with us.

Yet, the funny thing is that in knowing Him as the God who IS, suddenly, we look back and we, for the first time, truly know the God who WAS upon the cross, and rising out of the grave, never to die again. At the same time, we know He who IS TO COME forever revealing Himself anew in us right now with all joy and expectation. And death itself is swallowed up in the life of the God who IS.

So the grace that is to come, that the Spirit of God through Peter commands us to fix our hope upon, this grace that comes with the revelation of Jesus Christ, a divine enablement, to be the full revelation of God in the earth, this grace always is and always is coming.

It's like waking up out of sleep into joy. And again, and again, and again.

A million years from now, I will come back and look at what I am writing today. I will read it again, and though I will know Him and His ways in me and through me far beyond what I could possibly know today, yet I will be astonished that everything I know of Him then is found fully in what I know of Him now.

And so this groaning, this longing, this desire for more of Him, this asking and keeping on asking, this seeking and keeping on seeking, this knocking and keeping on knocking is never separated from the God who IS in us, in our weakness, in all fullness, right now.

The Grace that is to come is to WAKE UP! It is to arise out of sleep.

Yet grace is always grace, and the suit that we are is always useless except we be filled with God.

I learned a couple of weeks ago, at age 53, that I have lived inside the Autism Spectrum all of my life. I have had the neurological disorder called Asperger's Syndrome. I have never looked a person in the eye. I have never known how to answer people. I learned by much pain to keep my mouth shut, for I would never know the right thing to say, but even silence is interpreted as "pride," and so I learned to say, "Is that right?" Then they would think me strange, but at least it would be enough.

This diagnosis gives a full and complete answer to a lifetime of 10,000 unanswered questions that demanded an answer that never came. And so it brings with it much peace and settledness. To know that I have a neurological disorder that is named and shared by others who have faced the same unanswered questions I faced is to know that there is not some terrible, nameless thing wrong with me. A something that was always diagnosed by others with false and hurtful labels. I could never give them answer, because what they told me was my "problem" never made any sense, it had no connection with reality.

Just for instance, one of many, many similar difficulties, the Lord spoke to me that Maureen was the one He had chosen to be my wife. Yet, I was utterly unable to visit with her for seven long years after that, though for five of those years, I saw her nearly every day. This is Asperger's Syndrome - part of the Autism Spectrum. Yet, this part of that spectrum allows you to function fully in society, to learn to cope, to be able to give with all your heart, though, at the same time, being unable to connect emotionally with those to whom you are giving.

Many of those who changed the world for better had Asperger's, because we are able to focus our minds and to see patterns and connections that others miss. And this ability to see patterns that others may not see is the gift He has shared with me to give to you with the deepest joy and gratefulness.

Yet I continue in great weakness, physically as well as emotionally. The work world has always presented to me so many minefields that would explode in my face without warning and without reason. I am presently in a state of emotional shell shock, and I cannot fix myself. By God's grace, my last employer was a gracious and kind man who gave me much room to give what I had in the classroom without requiring me to do what I could not. But I could never connect with that school or that church and they could never connect with me.

Why am I sharing all this?

Because here is where grace is found.

Inside of 50 years of pain, there was always God, teaching me of Himself, His kindness, His mercy. It is in my weakness now that I cast myself utterly upon His life in me.

At my lowest point, having packed my wife and family into our little car in icy winter, leaving all our possessions behind, and driving 5000 miles without really knowing where we were going or why, I sat in a convention listening to a precious Bible teacher sharing a word. In the middle of his illustration, God spoke to me. He said, "Son, you passed the test."

"How can that be," I answered. "I failed totally, everyone knows that."

He said, "No, son, in all things, you justified Me, you declared Me to be right and true and you found no one to be at fault, including yourself. That was the test that I gave you. You passed the test, son."

It is there, in utter weakness and failure - and sometimes God sets up for us the greatest possible weakness and the greatest possible failure - that we find this that God calls GRACE.

"And He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong." 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

A million years from now, filled with all the fullness of God, I will be just as weak as I am right now.

If you think that you are going to do what God says, that you are going to put your flesh to death, get it under your feet, if that is still your mind, then you bar yourself from knowing this grace that is to come.

This grace that Peter tells us to expect with hearts filled with expectation and joy is a sealing of our minds, it is the nature of God written upon our foreheads. Expect it with all expectation.

I expect that the Lord Jesus will appear to me visibly, any day now, and to many of you as well, just as He appeared here and there after His resurrection. He is alive, you know. The time of His appearing is now. Yet, though we may not now see Him visibly, we rejoice in full expectation in all that His appearing in us means.

The time is now. The GRACE that IS to come is now, unfolding, revealing, glorifying Christ in us.

God always leads us to celebrate with all joy, dancing, and celebration, the victory of God in us, though we do not see it. Yet we will see it with our eyes.

Victory over physical death, victory over sin, victory over the beast, in this world, in this life, in this age, in us now. We will see it with our own eyes.

Yet, now, in our great weakness, in our utter failure, in our total inability to do anything for God, or even for ourselves in this world, we see Him victorious in us in all glory.

There is no greater "high," no more glorious experience in all creation, than that moment when we, standing here upon this earth, experience our dying, mortal body being swallowed up in the life of His resurrected body. That is the moment of our fixed expectation. That is the experience Paul tells us we groan and long for with all fervency. All of humanity's ages of desire will be fulfilled in us in that one experience.

Yet before that comes, we know a grace upon our minds, upon our bodies, a keeping grace, a sustaining grace, a grace that lifts us up above the wreckage of the world around us, a grace that enables us to give all that He is in us to those who belong to Him who have no idea what is happening to them.

Yet for some whom God has chosen, and He places everyone in His temple according to His sovereign choice, the grace that is to come is the GRACE of the vindication of God.

"Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God." Revelation 19: 11-15

This also is Christ IN US. We are not the horse He rides upon, we are not the armies that follow Him from heaven, we are He revealed in all of His fullness in us.

Do not ever limit God, nor remove from your hearts any word that He speaks, for His word is Christ.

Christ is Redemption. But the path of the redemption of all things lies through the judgment and vindication of God.

We set our face to the wind; and all the wildness of an uncontrollable God, a God we cannot understand, blows over us and in us and through us.

This is the GRACE upon which we set our expectation with all joy.

From: Daniel Yordy
". . . Rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ." 1 Peter 1:13

"For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance." Romans 8:22-25

Hope is something that fixes itself upon what is not seen. But hope is not passive acceptance of "not seeing." Hope is eager anticipation with perseverance. Hope is groaning for something we do not presently experience.

Christ is all that God is speaking. It grieves me to the core when I see precious believers arguing that Christ is limited to just a few things that God says. They don't say it in so many words, but it is inherent in their argument.

I am audacious enough to groan for all that God speaks in the New Covenant.

Peter here claims that there is a grace that we have never seen - a grace that we should groan for, that we should wait upon God for, with eager anticipation and perseverance.

I live in a grace I already know. I have seen His grace in my life innumerable times in all the years I have walked with Him. I have seen His grace in the power of the Holy Ghost upon me and upon His people. I have watched Him heal physical bodies and deliver myself and precious friends from the agony of demonic assault. I have known His hand guiding my steps, preparing the way before me, bringing goodness and mercy into my life.

I have known His love in the midst of my bitterness, His strength in the midst of my weakness, His faith welling up in the night watches when all I could feel was loss and emptiness and missed opportunity.

I have watched Him deliver me from physical death, certain death that stopped without reason at the instant it touched my clothing - more times than once.

I know His grace that has never let me get away with anything that was not His purpose for my life, constraining me, blocking my way, cutting me off, keeping me from evil.

I have known affliction and sorrow and great grief, and in the midst of all of it - Jesus.

All of my life I have been seized in the grip of His determination; I know His grace.

But God through Peter places before us a grace we have never known. And God commands us to set our hope fully upon the coming of that grace.

This commandment of God is Christ in me and Christ in me is all that the Father speaks.

What is this grace that is to come? This grace that no believer in Christ has ever tasted?

First, it is grace.

There is a definition that says that grace is the passive state of receiving the gift of "going to heaven" even though we don't deserve it. That God looked down upon our lostness and decided to have mercy on us, to do for us what we could never earn.

I have written out every verse in the New Testament containing the word "charis" - grace. It's an astonishing thing, but I never saw that definition of "grace" anywhere in anything God says. I don't know where it comes from, but God didn't say it.

You cannot know what grace is without knowing the determination and purpose of Almighty God for the present state in which we were born.

God is determined to have many sons just like Jesus, a many-membered Christ through whom God Himself can be seen and known and handled.

Here is a profound truth that must tell upon everything that we understand about God and His ways: Jesus was the Lamb slain from before the foundation of the world. Everything contained in the salvation of God to us was found in Jesus before we sinned. Man was already fully redeemed before sin ever entered the universe. But that redemption did not apply to anyone apart from red human corpuscles mixing with the dirt of the earth. God requires Christ in dirt and sweat and physical, human reality.

Everything that is real and true eternally in God must find a specific outworking in the sweat, the tears, the agony, the hopes and dreams of the physical, temporal existence of life on this earth.

Why? God created angels that obey Him without question by simply speaking a single word. Yet we know that the son God will have is birthed through the agony of travail, through the tears and screams and pain of a woman giving birth.

If grace is just a passive acceptance of what is already true for us in Christ, then God would never have placed us in this vale of darkness, nor would He have ever placed the groaning of hope within our hearts. God is not a criminal; He does nothing or allows nothing except what is essential for the fulfillment of His determination and purpose.

Someone wrote to me that I am "nothing but a dead man walking."

Bunk!

I am the groaning and the travail of God birthing Himself out of His very heart into human flesh. I am born from above. I am more real than anything in the physical universe.

At the time Jesus walked this earth, there was a man, walking most likely somewhere in the dark forests of Europe, who was my forefather according to the flesh. That man died and his corpse was buried not too many years after Jesus' crucifixion. What concern do I have with that particular corpse? I have the same amount of concern for that of me that died in Christ 2000 years ago - None!

I am alive unto God.

God is determined to bring many sons into the glory of Christ; He is determined to conform me to the image of His dear Son. God created the universe, allowed sin to enter it, and made all of it subject to vanity for the sole reason that this is how He chose to birth that Son out of Himself, out of His very heart.

It is in this context alone that grace has its meaning.

Grace is the fulfillment of God in us.

Jesus said, "I am the door . . " So many who teach the grace of God and Christ in us want to camp out in the door. "It's all done; there's nothing else." But a door is for entering the determination and purpose of God.

I am convinced that there is a door into this grace that Peter claims is a grace that is coming, a grace that we have never known.

That door is found in two places in the New Covenant.

"Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh . . . Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was (is) in Christ reconciling the world to Himself . . ." 2 Corinthians 5:17-19

"Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful." Hebrews 10:19-23

These two points of truth are like the two lungs through which every word God speaks - every breath He breathes - must pass to find fulfillment in our lives.

If you see yourself as a self separate from God, trying to come into obedience; if you see yourself as having two natures, one Christ, the other fallen human; if you see your "self" as something that "needs to die," having escaped death 2000 years ago and come back to haunt you; if you regard that which is dead; if you give credence to the Satanic deceit that God is lying when He says that all things in you are become new, all things in you are of God and that everything you are and everything you are going through is God in Christ reconciling the world to Himself - then you cannot know this grace that is yet to come, for you are unable to know it.

And if you allow in any part of your mind the consciousness of sin or sins or falling short or blowing it, any hint of regard for any possible effects of "sin"; if you draw back from the Holiest of all because you imagine you might be unworthy or might not make it or maybe, maybe someday; if you hesitate to speak and confess and declare your hope, that you are just like Jesus before God right now, though you see it not, because you imagine that would be "presumptuous" - then you cannot know this grace that is yet to come, for you are unable to know it.

We enter into the grace that is coming through the full revelation of our own utter weakness and inability and the sufficiency of the grace we have already received.

A friend of mine posted this statement on Facebook: "When God calls, there is always a required sacrifice: a cutting off of something dear to ourself so that we are able to focus solely on Him who purchased us......"

This is true. But there is nothing more dear to most religious Christians than having a self seperate from God, a self that has somehow escaped the death of the cross, a self that is fallen and human, a self that must be brought to obedience - with God's help, of course.

Always imagining that you must "die to self," always rooting around in your heart and soul and mind - the very dwelling place of Salvation - looking for sin and selfishness, is the exaltation of self. It is treating God like dirt; it is the carnal mind.

Christ is my life; I have no other life. There is nothing of myself that is not Christ.

"In that day you shall know that I am in the Father and you are in Me and I am in you." John 14.

This knowledge in all of its fullness precedes the grace that is to come.

And what is the grace that is to come?

It is God proving His will in this earth through us.

This grace is not primarily the salvation of Christ, it is the vindication of God through Christ in us.

*****

All this last week I have pondered and meditated on this grace that is to come and what I would share in this next letter. I had much in my heart as I began to write, yet, as the Spirit does, He blew in a very different direction from anything I had thought. That does not mean that the other things filling my heart were unimportant. It just means that there are not enough books in this world to contain the account of the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Part of what I must share with you is the time of this grace that Peter commands us to set our eager anticipation upon, that Paul says we groan for as a woman in travail.

On April 6, 2010, those who call themselves Jews in this world plan to offer a Passover lamb in sacrifice to "God" - the first since God destroyed that thing 1940 years ago. Christianity, utterly oblivious to the gospel, imagines that this is a good thing. It is not; it is the fullness of evil in this world. It is open mockery and repudiation of the Lamb that God sent. It is in your face, "Screw you God," rejection of His salvation. It is the beginning of open anti-Christ upon this earth.

When the Passover lamb was offered in AD 28, it was offered to God. When it was offered in AD 30, it was offered to Satan. God endured that blasphemy 40 times, and then He, not the Romans, destroyed it.

The tree of the knowledge of good and evil and the Old Covenant containing the law are the same thing. Both were created by God, both were pronounced good by God, and both will kill you if you taste of them. Just as the serpent was wrapped around that which God created in the garden; so the very same serpent is entwined around the Old Covenant claim to the inheritance in our world today. God put him in both places. The age of folly has come full circle. And the woman - the evangelical church - is again enraptured with the claims of the Lie.

Just as God hardened the heart of Pharaoh, just as He hardened the hearts of the Pharisees, so He is doing the same again today, for this purpose - that He might show Himself mighty, that He might demonstrate His power and His glory throughout the earth.

Let us place ourselves before God right now with these words: "I belong to You; let it be to me according to all that You speak."

Christ in us is not Adam. And Christ in us will vindicate the Father inside the arena that the Father Himself has appointed and will deliver all creation from the bondage of corruption.

Some of my readers are asking for more specifics concerning the Passover this April. Here is, first, an interpretive site, watch the video - a Christian pastor. I interpret this event, not according to modern sensibilities, but according to the gospel of the New Covenant - all that God speaks.

In none of these things should we be fearful. On the contrary, our hearts are filled with joy and expectation, with contentment and peace. We are in the center of God's will. Always - remember Mary. She knew what she carried. Grace is what we need and grace comes to us exactly as we need it.

It is God who has us in His grip. There is no where else to be.

Blessings in Christ,
From: Daniel Yordy
". . . Rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ." 1 Peter 1:13

This hope has been welling up in my heart with expectation the last few days. I wanted to share more specifically with you and with myself what it is we are expecting.

First, these words spoken by the Spirit of God through Peter are a commandment of the New Testament. These words are God speaking directly into me - a word of creation. As such they are Spirit and they are life.

As a New Covenant command, these words are something we can do, though it is not us doing it, per se, but Christ doing it through us. If we forget and find ourselves fearful, no problem; when we remember, we simply place our hope back where God told us to put it. We do not "perform" this act of obedience in order to measure up. On the contrary, the commands of the New Covenant are simply doorways of God's provision through which He releases joy and goodness into our lives.

"Give thanks in all things" is the best NT command to illustrate. If we forget and fail to give thanks in something, we have not displeased God, but we will not be very happy about things. Even in that, God is working in our lives. Yet, when we remember, we give thanks, even when it is difficult, and soon we find ourselves much happier. At the same time, God seems to move more quickly in the life of one who is always giving thanks. Yet giving thanks is a work of Christ in us.

Peter commands us here to "Rest." Another translation says "Set." But the meaning is the same, as when you set the dishes on the table where they "rest" waiting for food to be placed upon them.

When we say that we do not perform in order to please God, we do not remove the reality that there are actions of the Spirit in us that we "perform," for want of a better word, that release the wondrous provisions of God in our lives. Jesus commanded us to ask. James said that we do not have because we do not ask. I receive whatever I ask God for and expect to receive. If I do not ask with expectation, I will not receive. Whatever a person expects is what that person experiences.

When was the last time you (or I) raised someone from the dead? Literally! Not lately? Could it be because we do not expect to see such a thing? Yet there are precious fellow believers in other parts of the world who see people raised physically from the dead and restored to grieving and needy families because that is, simply, what they expect.

Do not imagine that not seeing God do things in us and through us is an indication that God does not do those things through His people. It is simply an indication that we do not expect God to do those things, therefore we do not see them.

Do not ever limit God, or put bounds around Him and say, "This is it and no more."

Second, we are to "hope fully."

Paul gives us three elements of the reality of Christ in us; they are first, love, second, faith, and third, hope. Even though hope is the third, it is still vital to our lives. We can think of these as the three legs of a stool. You remove any one of the legs and the stool falls over.

Hope is critical to our lives. Paul said in Romans 8 that we hope for something that we do not now have. All things spoken by God we possess now by faith. But there are some experiences from God that we have not yet received. These are future. Yet we are to place our hope upon them.

The most significant thing we hope for is the redemption of our bodies, the moment when our present physical bodies are swallowed up in life, made just like Jesus' resurrected body.

This hope Peter commands us to "rest upon" is tied in with that same experience.

Keep in mind that little word "fully." This is a big deal to God and to us.

Third, we set our hope fully upon a "grace that is to be brought to you."

We have already received two levels of grace from God. Here, Peter is speaking of a third level of grace that no one on this planet has yet to receive or know. We know that no one has received this grace because of two things. First, Peter said "Hope," that means it is something we do not presently have. And second, he speaks this word into the church and into this present age, which is not yet over, which means us.

The first level of grace we have received is the whole reality of Christ our life. I am in Him and He is in me. Christ is my life; I have no other life. (I recently looked up every verse in the NT with the word "psuche" (soul - life) in it and was amazed to discover that the idea that our "soul" is messed up and deficient and still needing to 'die' to some fallen aspect of itself does not come from the NT, at all. It comes from somewhere else. God says no such thing to the church.)

The second level of grace is the power of the Holy Spirit upon us for ministry. That is the grace Paul spoke of that enabled him to minister the gospel. Through that grace we see physical healing and provision and we are enabled to speak in tongues and cast out demons, to discern spirits and to hear wisdom from God for particular needs. It is even that second work of grace that enables us to understand the first work of grace and especially, to see the Bible as a Spirit word, Christ, alive and made new inside of us.

But Peter says, here, that there is a third level of grace that none of us have ever known and that we are to set our hope, our expectation, our hearts, fully upon the moment when we receive this third mighty grace, this third enablement from God that is yet coming.

We never imagine that our present revelation of Jesus Christ and our present knowledge of our union with Him means we have "arrived." A million years from now, after 365 million more revelations of Christ, new every morning, we will have hardly begun to know Him or the power and reality that He reveals through us.

More than that, we understand that neither Peter nor Paul nor John could teach us anything about this grace that our expectation is set fully upon. They could not because they never experienced any part of this grace in their lives. That is what "hope" means - and we assume that Peter wrote this just a few years before he and Paul were martyred.

Fourth, we must address this little word, "at."

Most of Christianity has decided that the word "at," here, means two specific things. They believe that it means right now - in heaven. That the moment Christians die and find themselves in "heaven," then from then on they enjoy fully this grace that we have not yet received. The second thing it means to most Christians is "after." After Jesus reveals Himself visibly and physically to all of the people on earth, coming down out of the sky, then, after that, we will know this grace that Peter is talking about here.

Both of these definitions of the word "at" remove, of course, the whole meaning of the word "hope." Why should we bother to set our expectation upon something that is just going to happen automatically to all Christians regardless. And so it is shoved off into some unknown point in the future and placed in that grab bag of all things God cannot do here and now - heaven.

But the word "hope," although it means we hope for something we do not presently have, also contains the urgency of the immediate immanency of that which we hope for.

I expect God to give me this grace any day now. The leaping expectancy of my heart, in fervent anticipation, expects that any day now I, Daniel Yordy, will receive this enablement from God that no Christian has ever known, only Jesus.

Though Paul lists love, faith, and hope as three things, we never take them on their own. Hope is filled with faith. That means I make it personal to me and I am excited about the expectancy of the thing my hope is set upon.

I reject both of those definitions of the word "at." We know that those who are in heaven do not have this grace, otherwise why would they still be waiting to come back to earth to receive back again their physical bodies? And "after" is just another way to believe not God, to join with the serpent, "Yea, hath God said."

The word "at," here, means "in the midst of," "out of the operation of," "alongside of," "as part of," the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Although this grace we continually set our expectation upon, any day now, with excitement and faith, is part of the "apocalupsis" of Jesus Christ, the unveiling, the removal of that which covers up, that is a topic for another letter. Before I explore the word Peter says here, "apocalupsis," I want to consider this third level of grace that we are expecting to come upon us as God wraps this thing up.

First, there is a tendency in Christian thinking to imagine that an expectation like this is for really special, chosen people, who are "great" in God. This sad illusion is perpetrated by the fact that powerful personalities also become Christians and very quickly move into places of leadership in the body of Christ. Because it is easy for these individuals to manipulate and persuade others and because they are anointed as all believers are anointed, it isn't long before they are elevated in the minds of believers into positions that do not exist in the kingdom of God. But that is also another topic.

Are you called to receive this grace that is coming upon God's people in these days? This is an extraordinary grace. People have received inklings of what it means. Whatever it means, it includes the fulfillment of every word God has ever spoken into this world from the beginning in and through us. It means a glory and power far beyond that which was seen in Moses or Elijah or even in Jesus. And don't think I'm speaking of some "superman" image. In all things, God is meek and lowly of heart; He is gentle and kind, simple-hearted and gracious.

Are you called to receive a grace that neither Peter nor Paul nor John nor Wesley nor Branham nor Patrick ever knew or received or tasted?

Do you want this grace?

If you want this grace, the ability to stand with Him as He reveals Himself in His glory - through you. To be ready and able and willing in the day of His power. If you want it, then you are called to receive it.

And if you are not interested, if such a thing does not appeal to you, if you'd rather walk in another way, then you certainly aren't resting your expectation fully upon this grace. That does not prevent God from doing wondrous things in your life, by any means.

And without question, exploring and experiencing the full meaning of the first two graces we have already received from God is itself a wondrous way of life that we have not plumbed the depths of or known fully, by any means.

But I am writing this letter to those who long to be with Him as He reveals Himself in His glory. Those who do not think highly of themselves, but who love Him.

You have every right in God to expect this grace, this third level of grace, to come upon you as Jesus Himself reveals Himself openly, but privately, to you.

Expect it, soon, any day now, with all the expectation of your heart.

I can see that this wondrous expectation that Peter places before us will take more pages to explore. Next time, God willing, I want to look further at what God reveals in His word concerning the nature and meaning of this grace that is, even now, coming upon us.

From: Daniel Yordy
www.dyordy.com

There is so little focus in the Christian world today on what God is actually doing right now in the earth. Most don't have a clue. God's people receive truth and revelation and power and anointing from God and then take those things in every conceivable direction. Few consider the revelation of Jesus Christ. I am not saying that to disparage anyone who is genuinely seeking the Lord, but there is so much being offered in the realms of power and truth that simply does not appeal to me in any way, primarily, it does not speak to the fulfillment of the New Covenant.

There is no question in my mind that we are at the end of the age. By that, I do not mean the end of history and the life of man upon this planet, by any means. The age that is ending is the age that began on the Day of Pentecost in AD 29. It is the age of the establishment of the New Covenant, the time of the "in-part" that Paul spoke of. (Some try to call it the ending of the "age of grace," but this is absurd, grace is the essence of God. It is only the in-part time that is ending.) But the age of the New Covenant will end in a much different manner than the age of the Old Covenant. With the Old Covenant, God had a contract with a small group of people who were racially descended from Jacob. To fulfill that covenant, God sent them His Son. But thinking they could get their hands on the inheritance without the Son, they murdered Him. This act broke forever all terms of the Old Covenant. That Covenant ended upon the cross and has no existence today.

In stark contrast, the age of the establishment of the New Covenant will end with its fulfillment in all fullness of all of its terms. God Himself will do this.

But that is not the only age that is coming to an end. At the same time that God fulfills all terms of the New Covenant, He will bring this age of human folly to a close, the age that began with the fall of Adam into darkness and separation from God. The age of the establishment of the New Covenant has been two thousand years long, or two days. The age of human folly has been six thousand years long, or six days.

But here is the thing we must understand. God is doing and is about to do mighty and wondrous things and we will see those things with our eyes. What God does now upon this earth will surpass all things He did in the past put together. When God accomplishes all that He is presently doing and has ended the time of man's rebellion and separation from Him, all creation, looking back upon what just happened will notice three dramatic things about the great and wondrous thing God has done. And make no mistake about it. All of creation, all of human history, all of God's redemption story is all about what is happening right now on the earth. This day is what it all was for.

The first thing all creation will understand about God's final act in fulfilling His intention and determination is how far off-base the church's understanding of these times really was. The church's definition of the end of the age and the revelation of Jesus Christ turned out to be as far away from reality as was the Jew's definition of what the coming of their Messiah would be. The shock of watching most of today's Christians, especially American Christians, opposing the Lord Jesus Christ vehemently in His return and joining with those who seek to put Him to death once again, will have stunned heaven.

The second thing that will be obvious and apparent to all is that everything God actually did upon the earth as He birthed the fulfillment of His eternal purpose and determination was in extraordinary agreement with what He actually said in the New Covenant stripped of all the ideas and definitions that were tacked onto what He says and understood by the Spirit of truth. In fact, everything God said in the New Covenant had its complete and perfect fulfillment in unimaginably powerful ways in the lives of His people on the earth.

But the third and the most extraordinary thing that all created beings will recognize with all amazement is this. Everything God did in the earth, as stupendously awesome as it was, shaking the foundations of all things to their core, proving His Word in the face of all calamity and darkness, demonstrating the supernatural power of God upon the earth, bringing all foes and all liars into submission upon their faces before Him, all of it, was done in and through a simple, gentle, and quiet people, a scattered people, to whom none of it was a surprise. Not really.

It will not be a surprise to them, because they already believed that God would do all that He says, in their lives, in this age, and on this earth.

That is why Jesus talked so much about weeping and gnashing of teeth. It was all there for whosoever will, but few wanted to believe all that God says. When the many see how simple it really was to be a part of the awesome and wondrous fulfillment of all that God has spoken from the beginning - all you had to have done was to yield to His hand and to believe with a simple heart all that He speaks. "I belong to You. Let it be to me according to Your Word." When they see it and realize that they will wait another age before they also can enter in, they will weep.

This letter is Christ Our Life. As such, my purpose is to speak to all that the New Covenant reveals to us that God is fulfilling now through the revelation of Jesus Christ in us and through us. So far, though I have alluded to a number of things God is doing right now in our lives as He unveils Christ in us in past issues of this letter, I have not covered the larger picture.

In order to broaden my focus, I have laid out seven aspects to the revelation of Jesus Christ. Everything God does has first an inner part and then, secondly, an outer part. The outer part exists only as an extension and outworking of the inner part.
Here are the seven things I will continue to expand on in this letter.

 1. Our union with Christ (inner) - being transformed into the image of Christ (outer).

"I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ lives in me, and the life I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God who loves me and gave Himself for me." Galatians 2.

"In that day you shall know that I am in the Father and you are in Me and I am in you." John 14.

"But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord." 2 Corinthians 3.

Christ is my life, I have no other life. Every part of who and what I am He carries utterly inside Himself, including all of my weakness and lack. And Jesus fills every part of me, every part of my humanity, in the messiness of my human experience.

At the same time, I am becoming what I already am before God right now. There is a rest in what I already am, but there is also a becoming of that same thing. Both of these truths go hand in hand, simultaneously. Right now, Jesus reveals Himself in all the messiness of my human life in this world. At the same time, He is transforming me, from the inside out, into the same image of Christ standing in glory before God from before the foundations of the world. I am just like Him, for I see Him as He is.

 2. The acceptance of our limitation (inner), the overthrow of the curse (outer).

"I will glory in my infirmities, for when I am weak, then I am strong." 2 Corinthians 12.

"The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made us free from the law of sin and death." Romans 8.

"For this mortal must put on immortality, and this corruptible must put on incorruption." 1 Corinthian 15.

"Because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God." Romans 8.

I do not think that I can "do" what God requires, in fact, I do not try. There is no victory over anything without first coming to a complete and continuing rest in the sufficiency of the salvation of Christ inside. "His grace is sufficient for me" must be far more than a slogan, it must be the essence of our life. That is one side of this truth.

But at the same time, nowhere does God say that I must continue under sin or under any part of the curse. I believe God to see total victory over sin in my life, to walk without sin, to walk in full victory over physical death and all aspects of the curse right here on this earth in this life. I am expecting a grace from God that has not yet been given to the church that will enable me to do just that. Everyone says that all things are possible with God. Yet most reject utterly the possibility that He would work the same freedom from sin in my experience that Jesus Himself walked in. [This is the one thing that must be impossible for God!]

Can I do this? Of course not. Will God do it in me as I walk in expectation of faith before Him? This is the great challenge that was thrown in God's face from the beginning. Will God prove Himself true? Watch and see.

 3. The ministry of intercession (inner), the river of life (outer).

"Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation." 2 Corinthians 5.

"He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." John 7.

"And they shall nourish her there . . ." Revelation 12.

Central to Christ residing in us in our humanity is the action of intercession. We think that we ourselves are going through things, struggles, difficulties, and so on. But that is only if we see ourselves as separate from God. When we walk in the consciousness of our union with Christ, then we see these things entirely differently. Everything we go through, God is working for the good of others. In a way, we stand in the stead of many. As we pass through and find the revelation of Christ in the valley of the shadow of death, we open the door to many to come freely through. Christ is working His reconciliation through our circumstances. This is our great privilege.

At the same time, there is an out-flowing of the Spirit of Christ through us. Everywhere we go, a river of life flows out of us, touching, healing, bringing life to others. We may not see it, but that does not mean it's not happening. If we believe in Jesus that is what is happening. What times we see it in actuality bringing healing and life to others, it is our joy.

But more particularly, I find the Spirit of Christ in me drawing these words to great depths for our lives right now, "And they shall nourish her there." We are called to be the ark, to be Joseph, to be the provision for many who will not know where to turn in the times to come. God is filling us right now with the knowledge of Himself with power, that we might be that nourishing when it is needed.

 4. Casting down the accuser (inner), casting down powers and principalities (outer).

"And they overcame him (the accuser) . . ." Revelation 12.

"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." Ephesians 6.

"God shall crush Satan under your feet shortly." Romans 16.

Evil cannot exist, except God gives it form and energy, all evil is guided by God's purpose, and God works the doings of all evil for good. Yet evil itself is not God. Evil exists because in God's determination to have the many-membered son He desires, He ordained that He would form that son through defeating and overthrowing of evil, through casting off that which limits God. God allows evil to exist that we might defeat it and cast it off.

But our part is to cast down the accuser in our own minds and hearts. Separating our mind from all accusation against us is the battle we are in. Knowing about our union with Christ does not remove us from the assault against our minds and hearts. We must "practice" that union until it is unassailable, until the prince of this world comes and finds nothing in us. We strive to come into complete rest in Christ living through us.

But outwardly, right now, the whole world lies under the sway, the control, the governing dominion of the evil one. To consider any idea for improving life on this earth that does not include at its core the removal of Satan and all of his demons utterly and completely from this planet and from human experience is not only pointless, but actually serves the purposes of darkness. As we cast down the accuser in our own hearts and minds, we release the powers of heaven to do their part. We do not "get rid of Satan" per se, but God Himself breaks the evil one under our feet.

 5. The fulfillment of the covenant (inner) and the contest over the inheritance (outer).

"The meek shall inherit the earth." Matthew 5.

"For all things are yours: whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come - all are yours." 1 Corinthians 3.

"He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son." Revelation 21.

"Come, let us kill Him and the inheritance shall be ours." Mark 12.

"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled." 2 Corinthians 10.

"When they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them." -- "And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, 'The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!'" Revelation 11

In the last few months, addressing this issue has become illegal in the United States, as it already has been in much of the world. Judaism is anti-Christ. The nation and government of Israel, as it exists right now today, is the head of the beast that was wounded unto death and now lives. The same small group of people who opposed Jesus directly during His ministry, the Pharisees, continues to this day in the same opposition. It may astonish you to know that, at the present moment, the faction of the Pharisees dominates utterly the American political system, the media, business, and finance. [And that of most of the rest of the world.] And through the television set and the media, the Pharisees of the Talmud teach us how to think about everything, that's why God calls it the image of the beast.

God needed the Pharisees to oppose Jesus. He hardened their hearts for His purposes. He is using them in the same way and for the same purpose today. The second witness of Christ is central to what God is doing in the earth today, to the revelation of Jesus Christ. God requires a second witness to prove all things, a second confrontation, a second death, a second resurrection. This also is Christ our life.

But this is the outer parts of the inheritance. The inner part, where God has us right now, possessing all things, including all things of the age to come. This also, we must explore.

 6. Being members one of another (inner), together, giving an invisible God shape and form so that He might be seen and handled (outer).

"Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit." Ephesians 2

"Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: 'Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but a body You have prepared for Me. In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You had no pleasure.' Then I said, 'Behold, I have come - in the volume of the book it is written of Me - to do Your will, O God.'" Hebrews 10.

"The Word became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld His glory." John 1.

We are members one of another. God is preparing each of us for the place He has ordained for us in His temple. There is no truth of God that is fulfilled in any of us as individuals separate from one another. All things that God speaks, He fulfills in a many-membered corporate body of people. The greatest event of the ages is the moment when the Father Himself fills His fully prepared temple. That moment is soon to come. The fulfillment of all that God speaks takes place, not in "heaven" but on this earth and in His people.

God is an invisible Spirit. He cannot be seen or heard or touched. But this is not satisfactory for God. He is forming for Himself a body, that He might reveal Himself through that body. God wants to be seen and heard and handled - through us.

 7. The manifestation of the authority of God (inner and outer).

"All authority in heaven and in earth is given unto me. Go therefore . . ." Matthew 28.

"And I will give to my two witnesses and they will prophesy." Revelation 11.

"To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne." Revelation 3.

To sit with Jesus upon the throne of God is to be the authority of God in the universe. Every word we speak carries great authority. We have no idea. Yet this topic in its fullness is beyond my present place upon this path God has us on. I will share of it in part, but I cannot now share of it in its fullness.

This layout of seven things, inner and outer, concerning the revelation of Jesus Christ is not meant to be exclusive, simply a way to approach the wondrous experience that God is taking us through. We will not experience any of the outer until first we know fully that which is inner. Yet God never stops with the inner, but always, He proves His mighty victory in that which is visible and outward.

This is the incredible purpose that God has seized us for in His determination.

This is the turning, the transition between two ages.

This is the day in which we live.

*****

I find it necessary, once again, to clarify the purpose of this letter. I am actually writing it to share with a few specific friends and family members the things that God is teaching me as He takes me along this path upon which none of us have ever trod. In doing that, I have opened up this private letter to others who also find the Lord speaking to them through it.

But in order to be able to share faithfully with my friends and family all that the Lord is teaching me, I must maintain the freedom of the private-ness of this letter.

I also receive a number of similar letters - or I go to other blogs to read things written by others. Often, I find things that I witness to and that feed and encourage me in all that God is doing with me. But I also often find things that I think are nonsense or off-based or just plain deceptive. [And everyone who writes is absolutely convinced they are speaking straight from God.] When I see those things, I simply ignore it, or skip over that part. God did not put me on this planet to straighten anyone out. Truth is a relationship with a Person, truth is not discovered by debate.

If you are receiving this letter and you find that God is not speaking to you through it, then I would ask you, please, have the integrity to unsubscribe. It is a simple process; just scroll down to the bottom, and click on the "unsubscribe" link. Then, fill in your email address, and again, click "unsubscribe." Your email address will be removed from the list automatically.

By being as honest as I can about what this letter is about, I am giving every reader the full opportunity to take advantage of the simple unsubscribe process below. If this is not your cup of tea, there is no need for you to intrude on a private letter.
I am fully open to gentle correction from people I know and trust. I welcome with joy comments and questions, whether I answer or not. But anyone who imagines that God is telling them to "straighten me out," I will and have taken the liberty to remove those addresses from my list. I am not writing for that purpose; I cannot write under that shadow.

I have a thesis, and that is to take all that God says in the New Testament, all of it, not removing any part nor adding anything from human thinking or the traditions of men. To receive all that God speaks, to believe for the fulfillment of all that God speaks by the power of the Holy Spirit in my life. To make all that God speaks in the New Covenant personal to me; to see God fulfill every word He has spoken since the beginning in my life in this age on this earth in all of its fullness and meaning. That is what I want to do by God's grace and why should I be faulted? Everyone does what they want; everyone believes whatever they choose.

I find that very few people subscribe to such a practice. There is not one thing God says in the New Testament that you will not find some Christian who will rail against it if you try to teach it. And almost all Christians are willing to take what God reveals in His word or by His Spirit, and extrapolate it with human reason into theologies and philosophies of existence that God does not actually say, and that require them to then denounce or explain away other things God does say.

Whenever I find myself twisting verses to get across my point, or explaining why other verses don't really mean what they obviously say, I stop myself short. I choose not to do that. I do not care if the things God says seem to oppose each other. My place is not to figure God out, my place is to believe what He says, and to yield to His hand that He might accomplish His determination in me.

I am not a minister. I do not fellowship with a small group. Though I desire such a thing and have lived there for years in the past, God has not brought that to me in this season of my life. I am a limited fellow, emotionally. I have had so many experiences blow up in my face, so to speak, with great hurt through all the years of my life, that I find myself in a state of "shell shock," even in my early fifties. I seek the Lord for healing, but until He does just that, His grace is sufficient for me.

You may wonder who and what I am. I am nothing more and nothing less than a friend of the Bridegroom. By sharing with you the journey God has me on and the light upon my path He is sharing with me, my only desire is to take your hand and the hand of Jesus, to place them together, and then to step back into the shadows rejoicing in the joy of my Friend. If that happens, here and there, for you, then I have fulfilled my purpose in writing. If it does not, there is nothing gained.

Yet, my Friend, the Lord Jesus Christ, is doing more right now than bringing His bride to all purity and faith in union with Himself. He is also vindicating His Father upon the earth.

And the sound of the shattering of all things that can be shaken is growing louder in my ears. That, also, is the revelation of Jesus Christ, and I must share those things with my close friends and family members as well. If you wish to read along with them, you are more than welcome to do so.

*****

I would urge you in the next few days and weeks, to be sure you have sufficient food for your family in the pantry, to last for at least a couple of months. That practice is simply wise living. Much more than that we probably cannot, at present, do. There is reason to believe that the harvest of food, not only in the United States this last fall, but throughout the world as well, is the worst in decades. Yet the US government continues to report abundance, keeping prices low, when they really should be much higher to limit consumption. We trust in the Lord, but, as Patrick Henry once said, "For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst and provide for it." This is how I, also, am made.

Here is an article and website that carefully explores the present world food status. Check it out for yourself.

http://www.marketskeptics.com/2009/12/2010-food-crisis-for-dummies.html

The world is not our source; God is our source. But when the world seems to have some answer to the dilemma, and God seems not to, many will be tempted to turn to the world instead of waiting on God. But the world will have its price and that price may be more than we are willing to pay.

From: Daniel Yordy
www.dyordy.com

This morning I have a sense of being troubled. What I have to share may be a bit of a ramble. But there is so much on my heart and this blog is my sharing the journey the Lord Jesus has me on. He spoke to me once, "Give My people hope." I had no ministry then and very little hope myself, so I did not understand what He meant.

We are on a path that few have ever traveled and parts of where God has us none have been before, except Jesus. What are the reference points, what is the anchor, what star guides us?

I received an email that told me we must go beyond the Bible if we want to find life. I haven't got to the end of the Bible yet to be ready to go beyond it. The Bible lays before me so much that is beyond wonderful that I have not yet experienced in all that it means.

There are those that say we must awaken to our christ consciousness or tune in to our inner christness and get away from idolizing this man, Jesus. They must be far stronger than I am; I would not know where to lean my head.

And so I want to write two articles, the one most important to me is "Why Jesus?" The second is the foundation of the first, and that is "Why the New Covenant?"

Everyone has chosen a place in which to stand. Everyone has chosen the rules by which they pursue or defend understanding and truth. This is entirely a personal and individual decision. You have decided those two things for yourself already.

What is the anchor? What determines truth? How do we know the path on which to walk?

A brother who sees much the same as I keeps saying that we must still "die to the Adamic nature." Where does He get that thought? The New Testament states that the Adamic nature is dead and buried. Nowhere does God state that I retain an Adamic nature. My humanity comes from the humanity of Jesus. I am His flesh. Another seems to want to limit the revelation of Jesus Christ to our present experience only. I read too many statements in the New Testament that blow way beyond such a limitation to ever be satisfied with my present experience.

The worst is when I try to teach our union with Christ to my children and realize that I am once again doing what I did before, bending what God says in the New Covenant to fit my preconceived ideas. I choose not to do that. God says, "Let us therefore cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God." He says, "He that has this hope in him purifies himself just as He is pure." These things also are absolute truth and must be fulfilled in our lives.

There are so many statements in the New Testament that oppose each other to our mind and to our present understanding. But I do not want to take one set of statements and use them to explain away the other. We did that in the move, I will not do that now.

I read those who want to explain away the concept and existence of evil and the judgment of God against iniquity. How can we know what is truth?

For me there is Jesus, and the new covenant in His blood. If anyone is looking elsewhere, this might not be the right letter for them.

Concerning Jesus, He redeemed me from unimaginable horror by His blood, His is the shoulder against which I lean my head, I am not wise enough or strong enough to be "the christ consciousness." And He is the One before whom I will cast the crown of all that I am. Jesus is my Beloved; I love Him. To go beyond Jesus is like a wife going "beyond" her husband. Some may find that thrilling. It does not enter my mind.

Concerning truth. We could pick ten thousand things to be the determination of truth, the worst being the ruminations of our own minds. You have no idea how insane the world is, the madness and delusions that people hold to be truth with all their hearts. As the light is turned on, the depths of nonsense revealed in the darkness will be so shattering that many will lose their minds, they will have nowhere to turn.

I have made my own choice. For me, truth is that which God speaks in the New Testament. The Old Testament is useful only if I follow the directions given in the New Testament concerning how I use it. I did not sign the old contract, I signed the new. That new contract, which I signed when I was baptized in water, is binding on all things concerning God and concerning myself.

Truth is not determined by what I believe or understand or know or become aware of. Truth is what God says, which is Jesus, which is written down in the New Testament, which is known by a personal relationship with the person of the Holy Spirit who is in me for the purpose of causing me to know Jesus. But what is written in the New Testament is not what God spoke, as a letter on the page, it is what God is speaking into me right now; it is power and it is life.

God took me through a difficult passage over the last few weeks. Because it deals with people, I cannot share the particulars, only that what the Lord was after was the entanglements of emotion, the bonds that connected me in a false way to things from my past.

I will share that this passage involved some of the worst fear I have ever known, fear that contained a threat that could hit me at the most important place in my natural life, my family.

In the middle of that fear, in the middle of wondering what on earth is true and sound, in the middle of the night, as I lay open before the Lord, God spoke to me. He said, "Will you trust Me." "Will you trust Me utterly in all things."

How many times have I sung the song in my heart with tears over the years, in the dark places, in the hard places. "Trust in the Lord with all of thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He will direct thy paths."

But on the path we are on, such truth is always found at a deeper and deeper level.

Always in the past there were other voices. "God is displeased with you." "You have to measure up." "You have to die to the flesh." "God really doesn't like you." "God loves you, but . . " And so I could trust Him only as one separate from Him, wanting and trying to be with Him.

I no longer "want and try" to be with Him. He is in me. I am in Him. All of my mistakes He bears inside Himself. All that I am is Jesus working out His salvation in me.

And so when I answered the Lord, "I trust You, My Father." It was a casting of myself and all that pertains to me, including my family, utterly into His care.

I wrote on a post recently, "Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him." This moment of answering the Father very much included that reality.

If there were no evil and the judgment of God upon wickedness, there would be no need for salvation. If we are all just awakening to our christness, then where is there a need for Blood?

But salvation utterly belongs to Jesus. He is the Savior. And He is working all salvation in me and through me and as me in this world. Not just as a theological premise or a future hope. But in the harsh reality of a world gone mad and prison and starvation and blood in the streets.

The answer to all things is TRUST. And trust is a relationship between one who is in need and One who carries all things, and especially me and those whom I love, inside Himself.

Trust is a complete casting of one's self upon another. There are no strings still attached to anything else. Trust is utter and complete.

Because He said so.

"I trust you, My Father. Let it be to me according to what You are speaking."

From: Daniel Yordy
www.dyordy.com

For some weeks I have been pondering this truth scattered throughout the New Testament, that we are His flesh. A couple of weeks ago, Fred Pruitt sent out an email in which he said the same thing, that he had been pondering for several weeks the meaning of eating His flesh. In other words, this is something the Spirit of God is focusing us on right now as His sons. (I will include some things that Fred shares in my next letter.)

A truth like this, we receive bits and pieces of understanding from the Spirit of God. It is so profound, and our understanding is so limited, yet what is revealed is the very salvation of God.

I am writing this letter for those who are on this journey with me, a journey of knowing Jesus, the Christ, in all of His revelation in us, through us, as us, in this hour of His glory. More than once, people have written to me and said, "Wow, this letter is different than previous ones, it's really life to me." So I compare what I said in that letter and what I said in previous letters and see the same thing. What happened was that before, the reader, though previously interested and drawn to what I shared, was now hearing it, for the first time, through the revelation of the Holy Spirit.

And so I am sharing, particularly in this letter, with those who know that they have the mind of Christ and who hear all things by the revelation of the Holy Spirit.

It is in John 6, just after the feeding of the 5000, that Jesus says these words, "He that eats My flesh and drinks My blood shall have the life of the age to come."

Every single person who heard Him say that turned their backs and fled in horror except the twelve who were, nevertheless, shattered and confused.

We need to understand the extent of the blasphemy and the horror that Jesus chose to speak to the ears of those who heard Him.

Israel, in that day, survived, barely, in a sea of Greek culture. The party of the Sadducees, who had the greater power and wealth, had embraced much of Greek culture, while still remaining Jews. But the memory of the Law of Moses and the Prophets would have long since been swept from the earth in face of the overwhelming onslaught of all things Greek if it were not for a small group of devoted, gallant men who had committed their lives to keeping at least a small group of people in Israel connected to Moses and the Prophets, and separated from Greek culture, philosophy, and paganism.

These men were the Pharisees. Certainly, they get a bum rap, but without them, there would have been no people left for Jesus to minister to.

But the Old Testament did not, nor was it intended to, restore man back to the relationship with God that Adam enjoyed - infused utterly with God, no separation of self. And so the Jewish mind had elevated God as "untouchable" and way beyond the commonality of man. To equate God with the dregs of degraded humanity dragging upon the earth was, to their thinking, the most horrible evil that a person could conceive. Thus the idea of "blasphemy" was a huge deal in the minds of all Jews of that day.

Inside of the Greek culture that pressed at all times against all things Jewish, there was a particular religious cult called the cult of Dionysus. In this cult, a person, usually a child, was presented on the stage as the god, Dionysus. Then, at a certain point in the ritual, the worshipers would tear the child to pieces and eat his flesh and drink his blood. They did this because it was Dionysus who said, "Except you eat my flesh and drink my blood, you have no life in you."

The Romans were a hard, cruel, and wicked people. They had learned, early on, that tolerating a certain "freedom of religion" was necessary to keep captive peoples quiet, and so they did. But to the Roman sensibility, the cult of Dionysus was so excessive and awful that it was completely banned from the Italian peninsula.

Every Jewish man, woman, and child was fully aware of the gross paganism and filthy ritual of the cultures and peoples that swirled around and through their midst at all times. They were a captive people, living in a land claimed and possessed by others. They were fully aware of the cult of Dionysus and the gallant role of the Pharisees in keeping such evil away from their lives.

Moses, on the other hand, had commanded the people of Israel not to eat the blood with the flesh of an animal, because the blood was the life of the flesh. The Pharisees had expanded greatly on the rituals and rules of Moses, and so great effort was present in every one's mind, to separate the blood so as not to eat any bit of it and thus defile themselves in disobedience to Moses.

Because we have heard these words of Jesus all of our lives, they seem weird to us, but no more. We have no ability to comprehend the awfulness of these words to the minds of those who heard them. For Jesus to quote this most horrible of pagan deities in the most excessive pagan ritual that even the Romans could not stomach was beyond all human reason. And to the Jewish ear it was BLASPHEMY in every possible way and to all extent. It was not possible for Jesus to have dreamed up any more "wicked" and "evil" thing to say to the mind of those who heard Him speak.

Jesus was not speaking in John chapter 6 to the Pharisees, He was speaking to the Jews who had followed Him, who had eaten the bread He had broken and multiplied, who had brought their sick to Him to be healed, who had hung on His every word.

We know that God needed the Pharisees to kill Jesus. Part of Jesus' mission was to provoke the Pharisees, to push their sensibility to the point where they would deliver Him up to be crucified. But when Jesus stood before the Sanhedrin, He limited His blasphemy to an oblique reference that He was One with the Father. That was enough for them to turn Him over to the Romans in a judicial way, which is what God intended. But if Jesus had made this statement in John 6 when He stood before the Sanhedrin, they would have stoned Him to death right there.

Jesus is a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense. He couches the greatest truth of the gospel inside the greatest blasphemy uttered in the pages of Scripture.

"Except you eat My flesh and drink My blood, you have no life in you."

Even to our ears, these words are awful, and we have none of the religious bent of the Jewish mind of that day.

In order to follow Jesus in this present unveiling, we must be willing to embrace that which, to the natural mind and to the religious mind, is utter horror and blasphemy.

To know Him, as He reveals Himself in us, is to be what the world and what Christianity will call a horror and a blasphemy.

And we ourselves, just like the twelve (or shall I say, the eleven, because it is here that Jesus says that one of them is a devil), have only one answer to give in our own confusion at the incredible insanity of what God speaks to us in the New Covenant.

"Lord, to whom shall we go? You alone have the words of age-abiding life."

And so we begin this journey.

1 Timothy 3:16 "And without controversy, great is the mystery - the secret - of godliness: God manifest in the flesh . . ."

There is a set of verses that I have known of all my life. If you said a few of the words from it and asked me where it was, I would have told you instantly, without thought, Ephesians 5.

Yet I have never known these words, nor ever considered what they say.

Ephesians 5:28-32 "So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. For we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones. For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church."

Did you catch that? I never have, nor have I ever heard any minister or teacher of the word catch it either.

Every human being loves and feeds his flesh. This is a given. That is why those sad Christians who see themselves as separate from God, with the obligation to hear what He says and do it, and who with all zeal put their "flesh" under foot, as they see it, are such an example to us of not the Lord Jesus. I have known people like that, who actually took seriously the injunction to get their flesh under foot. They are my brothers and I love them, but there is no light of Christ in their eyes. The very act of willfully and fervently "subduing the flesh" makes the flesh the greatest thing in their lives.

Every man, woman, and child loves and feeds their flesh. This is a given.

The question is to whom does the flesh belong?

Because, you see, Paul, here, in verse 30, says the most extraordinary and unbelievable thing in all Scripture.

He says that the reason that God loves me, the reason God cherishes and nourishes me is because I am God's flesh.

Is this not what God is speaking in verse 30?

I am God's flesh.

My flesh is His flesh.

My flesh is the flesh of God.

That sounds like blasphemy, doesn't it? It certainly does to me.

But I have put these bounds upon myself at this point in my life. All that God speaks in the New Covenant, I will believe. And if God does not speak it in the New Covenant, I refuse to consider it.

Christ is God manifest in the flesh. Jesus is the eternal entrance into all that Christ is.

Now, Paul here says that I am a "member" of His flesh. That is the same thing as saying "I am His flesh." The reason Paul uses the word "member" is that just as I am His flesh, so you are His flesh. There are always those who will take a word like this and use it to puff themselves up above others; that's why Paul says it this way.

This letter I am writing is supposed to be the third part of "Coming out of Darkness." It is supposed to be a reference to Revelation 3 where Jesus says, "I counsel you to buy of me white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed." And it is.

But this word is so much more than one part of three. Yet it also has it's place there. To see as Jesus sees, we must accept our own blindness. To enjoy all the riches of heaven, we must accept our own poverty. And to be clothed with His flesh, we must accept our own flesh. For our flesh is His flesh.

The princess must kiss the frog.

You could spend some time thinking about that statement. Ask God to show you what it means.

And so, over the last several weeks, I have been pondering this thing that Jesus says. Faith makes everything God speaks personal to one's self. If it is not personal to me, it is not faith.

I have always carried great and overwhelming shame in my heart. Almost all people who, in their Christian zeal, have attempted to "fix my problem," to persuade me that I had better "get myself straightened out before God," have done nothing more than increase that debilitating and overwhelming sense of shame.

How many times has this thought cast its dark pallor over my soul, "I am so ashamed of myself." I could never count them all.

How many times has God revealed Himself to me? So many times over the years! Yet was it two or three days later that shame re-asserted its dominion over my heart and the glory was hidden from my eyes once again? Never more than three.

And so in recent weeks, as the reality of life in this world hits me with all of its viciousness, and once again shame mounts its familiar assault, both from within and without, I cast all to the wind. I have nothing else to lose.

I speak in my heart and with my voice, with tears streaming down my face.

"Jesus, this shame is Your shame. This flesh is Your flesh. This weakness is Your weakness. This inability is Your inability. This darkness is Your darkness. This sin is Your sin. You have become me. I am Your flesh. I am the cup and the dregs which You have drunk."

And I am clothed with an intimacy and a closeness to Him that I have never before known.

Yes, to the mind that is separate from God this is folly: to the religious mind, it is blasphemy, and to the natural mind, it is stupidity.

But to me, at this moment, as this present age of folly is crashing into ruin, as the heavens are turning, as my own days are caught in great stress and difficulty, it is LIFE.

It is Jesus.

From: Daniel Yordy
www.dyordy.com

For this series of three articles, I take my text from Revelation 3: "I counsel you to buy of me gold refined in the fire that you may be rich, and white garments that you may be clothed and eye salve for your eyes that you may see."

I am not interested in nice discussions about nice Biblical topics. I am interested in what God is doing in the earth right now. And right now, God has me focused on His fulfilling all that He speaks in the New Covenant in our lives right here and right now.

This focus brings great distress along with great joy. The joy is the wondrous knowledge that He fulfills all these things in us in our weakness and that He does so AS US in our humanity, that all of His ways concerning us are perfect. But the distress comes from the reality that we live in difficult times and what God speaks in the New Covenant appears to us as impossible.

Here, in the church of Laodicea are a group of poverty-stricken, deprived, empty, bottom-of-the-barrel Christians who are convinced that they have all abundance.

They are also blind, but are convinced they can see (I talked about that in Part 1); and they are naked and shameful, but are convinced they are clothed (which I will discuss in Part 3).

I will make no apologies for the fact that I am convinced we are about to enter times of deprivation and death and chaos in this world worse than anything we have ever known. As an amateur student of history, I am fully aware that the incredible bubble of safety and abundance of the last 60 years through which we have lived in America has no correlation in history. It is so unusual that it it is hard to understand how it has existed this long. More than that, most people have no idea how incredibly fragile the massive interwoven worldwide support system that brings us our sustenance daily really is. The food you will eat next week is at the present moment hundreds of miles away from you. One large coronal ejection from the sun, or one large nuclear blast high in the atmosphere, will eliminate that support system in a moment and there will be no recourse. No one knows how to survive. There will be no electricity and no water and no food and no one will be able to fix it. Then
, things will start to get bad.

There is an argument that says that we must not think about such things because they are so "negative." We must express only positive things so that only good things will happen to us. "Don't be so negative, God would never allow anything bad to happen."

For some reason, I find that argument repulsive because it requires me to live in a lie. I cannot believe that I can know the truth that is Christ Jesus and wrap myself in lies at the same time. The revelation of Jesus Christ is within the world as it is, not the world we wish in our fantasies. I would much rather grapple with fear now and bring my faith into the knowledge of Jesus Christ now, than to deal with that enormous transition all in a moment, as most people have chosen to do.

In China, when the Communists took power, they (as in all Communist takeovers) targeted the churches last. While all other freedoms vanished, Christians continued to believe they were free. Then, the Chinese Communists did not assault the church openly, but through backhanded means they spread dissension and accusation.

The church in Shanghai that Watchman Nee was a part of was one of the most dynamic and healthy churches in China. It had been birthed by one of the greatest apostolic ministries in church history, Hudson Taylor. Ninety percent of that church turned their backs on God and walked away from Him; the other ten percent went to prison.

An honest reading of history will show us that this is the normal Christian life.

We are terribly poor and we need the wealth that Jesus is talking about here more than we understand.

I am saying these things for a purpose, to share hope and faith with you - and with myself. But faith is specific to reality; it does not work inside of the dullness and fantasy where many American Christians live.

"Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5

"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according the power that works in us." Ephesians 3

"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4

There is inside of the life of Jesus inside of us all provision for all things in all abundance. If we do not know that we are poor, we will not live in the abundance of Christ.

In order to step out of poverty we must become poor. Because we think we are rich, we are content to live separate from the abundance of Christ. Why do we need His provision when we have the corner store?

The curse stripped mankind of the abundance and wealth of God. But trying to live as a collective of selfs separate from God, man has built a vast system of provision that is much larger than food and drink, clothing and shelter. It is a system of thinking that extends in many different directions.

In other words, there are so many ways that our minds and the trust of our hearts will go that is other than that which comes out of our union with Jesus. That fact does not distress us because in all things God is working together with us for good. There is not a single struggle that you and I wrestle with right now that we will not discover is really producing unending blessing and benefit both now and in the ages to come.

But all of it comes out of our discovery of His fullness in our weakness. The purpose for the limitation in which we live is to know Jesus as we can know Him only inside the vanity of our present state, and inside of casting off the curse by faith.

There are so many ways in which we imagine we are rich when we are actually trusting in something other than Jesus. At every point of imagined "wealth" we ask Jesus to bring us to poverty that we might know Him in His abundance. And don't think I'm talking about monetary poverty. The issue is not money or the lack of money, corner stores or not corner stores; the issue is our source.

Two ways in which we imagine ourselves to be "rich" are found first in those who are "getting ready for what's coming," and second in those who believe we don't need to "get ready for what's coming."

For many years I lived in a community of believers who were "getting ready for what's coming." I know what it takes to get your food out of the ground without the use of cheap oil. It takes unending hours of backbreaking work.

Today I see much more clearly just exactly what is at stake then I did then. And I know this: no natural preparation is going to help us. That doesn't mean we shouldn't have extra food on hand; that's just a normal part of wise living. In fact, I've had the Lord impressing on my heart the need to have good hiking shoes for each member of my family. If we have to literally walk away from everything, not having good shoes will show itself very quickly.

Everything we depend on in this world is being framed more and more in the need to be identified in order to buy or sell. The Real ID Act that Bush II tried to push through required you to have a radio identification chip in your National ID card in order to enter a federal building, or an airport, or to have a banking account. Although that failed because of opposition from the states, the same principle is coming through many different directions at once. Soon, if you want to participate in the world system, you must be marked and identified.

One such way is pandemic emergency. The law is already in place, the emergency already declared. The entire world is presently subject to the dictate of the World Health Organization. The constitution of the US ceased to have any legal authority on September 12, 2001 when Bush II declared a state of national emergency, that's why they make no effort to follow it except in show. In order to ensure that every person on the planet is vaccinated they have decreed an armband in which is a radio chip identifying you. If you do not have that chip, you are not allowed to function in society. The vaccination itself is a deadly evil. I can in all confidence advise you to refuse it. (Of course, this intent has faded with the mildness of the "swine flu.")

All of these things are fully in place. The WHO declared a Level 6 pandemic last spring which means they are now the de jure authority over all nations. Being the de facto authority requires frightening the population, something not easily done, actually, but they are working hard at it. The first President of Europe, Van Rompuy, who took authority on December 1, said in his first public statement after being secretly chosen (by Henry Kissinger no less), "Global governance has already begun."

How shall we walk through what is ahead? How do we prepare?

Those who are frantically trying to be prepared cannot be prepared; they will fail.

But far sadder than that are those who imagine that they don't need to be prepared. "I'm just trusting in Jesus. He will take care of me."

Forgive me if I don't believe those who glibly make that claim. I really do not. For me, the circling creditors alone are scary. It's easy to write about how the children of Israel should have celebrated the victory before they saw it with their eyes; it's quite another thing to do the same.

Most American Christians, when push comes to shove, will choose to trust in the government, convincing themselves with all of their hearts that in doing so, they are trusting in God.

A popular news commentator recently presented five points of argument that have been embraced by many dear and foolish American Christians.

Point 5 is the worst. It states: "I believe the United States of America is the greatest country on earth and therefore will not apologize for policies or actions which have served to free more and feed more people around the world than any other nation on the planet."

The angel, speaking to John, gave her these words: "I sit a Queen and shall see no sorrow."

Those in whom Christ is revealing Himself flee as fast and as far from such a proclamation as they can. When an arrogant and wicked nation idolizes itself so blatantly, it, by its very nature of collective self-exaltation, must implode.

Why am I saying all this?

My purpose in these letters is simply to share with you a running narrative of the things God is teaching me and dealing with me concerning the life of Christ revealed in us.

We are coming into the full knowledge of our union with Christ in the context of unimaginable disaster sitting upon the people of the world. In fact, it is our coming into this union with Christ that is causing the light to go on in the world. Don't think, over the next few years, that the world is "becoming more evil." No, it has always been what it is; it has just persevered in darkness, its evil was hidden. Now that the lights are turning on, we will see what it is clearly.

Christ is everything we need, and Christ is the only life we have. Everything we need to be before God, Christ already is as us.

God is taking us through many small difficulties now for the specific purpose of enabling us to learn to hold to Christ our life now in little things so that when the big things come, we will be found in Him and we will not join most Christians who will run to the world for their help, calling it "God."

"And they shall nourish her there . . ." Revelation 12

That word "nourish" is so breathed upon by God right now. We are that nourishment and through us, God sends rivers of living water. We are right now buffeted on every side. The powers of darkness are terrified, and all of their fighting ability is directed against us.

God deliberately led the children of Israel to a place where they would be pinned between an impassible sea and the vicious killers of Egypt. God deliberately led the children of Israel to an entrance into the Promised Land that required crossing an impassible river at flood stage. This is what He does.

Why? So that He can show Himself mighty on our behalf. God likes to prove His stuff. More specifically, God is focused on faith in what He speaks. We are not trusting in God when we are filled with joy and peace while things are easy. When destruction is upon us and the way forward is impassible, then we know what faith in what He speaks really is.

It is on this point that God focuses every part of His creation throughout the whole history of time - unwavering faith in the word He speaks when confronted with all opposition.

And out of this connection of unwavering faith with an impossible word in the center of all opposition, God releases all provision, not only for ourselves, but for the entire creation through us.

We must become poor; that is, we must cease looking to any other source besides our union with Christ for all provision.

Will you stay at your job if doing so requires receiving a radio identification chip? Will you go to the doctor if payment requires having a radio chip?

I know there are many Bible teachers who are saying that receiving a radio chip under one's skin is not a problem - that it is not the "mark of the beast." That is a personal choice they are making. Are they really brave enough to teach that to others as well? Most American Christians are convinced that nothing can be that mark because they are not raptured and it can't come until after they are gone.

I have no idea what "the mark of the beast" is. I know that phrase has many spiritual applications. I know that in our union with Christ, His blood covers us in all things. I know that many people say many things about it.

Yet, I am left with these facts of present reality.

1.	The system requiring a radio identification chip will not allow you to function in any part of modern society if you do not have it, which includes buying and selling.
2.	The chip is an identification that tags your body, marking your body, which is the temple of God and the focus of salvation, as the property of the government.
3.	The chip is a tracking device that allows anyone with the right equipment to be able to track your every movement.
4.	The chip is a direct electronic control device through which your thoughts and feelings can be manipulated and controlled.
5.	As time goes on, those who have an active radio identification chip under their skin will develop cancerous sores as a result of the pinpointed microwave exposure taking place at that site.
6.	The people pushing these things are evil and their intent towards us, particularly towards those who love Jesus, is evil.
7.	The system that creates the "provision" that comes through being chipped and identified is imploding even while it is reaching for power, and all who put their trust in it will discover that it will not meet their needs after all.

Would God place His people between impossibility and impossibility and in the middle of screaming contradiction say, "Stand still and see the salvation of God"?

Actually, that is the point of the whole fall of man and all the ages of vanity.

It is for this that God has chosen you and me.

"You who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith - the salvation of your souls. . .

Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ."1 Peter 1:4-13

Again, I am not trying to convince anyone of anything. I write only for those whose hearts are yearning to be found in Him and He in them, ready and willing and able as He reveals Himself in His glory.

Peter says here that there is a grace that is yet to come, a grace, a divine enablement, that neither he nor Paul, nor John, nor David, nor Moses, nor Elijah, ever received or knew. Peter is claiming here, that at a certain point in time, as God wraps this thing up, we, you and I, must have our hope focused on receiving a grace from God, an enablement, a reality of life and power that no Christian or saint has ever known before us, save Jesus alone. Not Wesley, not Patrick, not Wigglesworth, not Madame Guyon.

This is a grace.

We do not earn it.

We can do nothing to deserve it.

Yet when it comes, most Christians will miss it. They will not recognize it at all.

Because we look for it with all desire, because we believe God for the fulfillment of all that He speaks, because He has said so, we will recognize this grace when it comes, and we will receive it.

And in receiving that grace, we are not made "elite." No! The whole purpose of receiving what we "do not deserve" is to turn and give it to others, though they also do not deserve to receive it.

"And they shall nourish her there."

This is the source of all abundant provision.

*****

I had to move this mailing list from one server to another, that is why things have not been working right. Everything is resolved now, and I will be able to continue to send out this letter.

May the Lord bless you,
From: Daniel Yordy
www.dyordy.com

The animal skins with which God clothed Adam and Eve so that they would no longer suffer His presence in their sinful state became a part of the fabric of the human person. This aspect of the human nature is spoken of in a number of different ways throughout the Bible. It is called the "veil," the "flesh," the "outer man," the "old man," and so on.

First, and foremost, we who believe in Jesus Christ no longer carry this animal skin nor any part of it in our being. "The veil was removed in Christ." The veil of the temple, keeping us shielded from the presence of Almighty God was torn apart at the same moment that the veil of the flesh of Jesus was pierced upon the cross. The old man is dead and buried.

Our problem is we believe that we still carry that outer fallen nature. It is the proverb of the jail cell with an open door, but the prisoner remains inside because he cannot see himself free.

We don't even know what freedom is.

So we stay huddled inside our humanistic limitations; we read that "he who has died is freed from sin," but we cannot walk free. [And I use the word "humanistic" limitations because I want to distinguish the beast skin we imagine we still wear from the godly human weakness that God created us as - forever the counterpoint to His strength made perfect in us.]

This is why Paul said that we are transformed by the renewing of our minds. Every part and element of the salvation that Christ gave Himself to provide for us is presently ours. There is nothing that is "waiting for heaven," including ourselves - we presently live in heaven as fully as we ever will. As Peter said, "He has given us all things pertaining to life and godliness." So what must change is our understanding. We must know, by faith and by appropriation, the things that belong already to us.

Why does God then require of us this lengthy time bound by the limitation of ignorance? I can think of many reasons that He tells us through the New Testament, all of them profound. But I want to share the reason that is most fresh to me, because it came only last night.

In the night, I was before the Lord, believing Him for the fulfillment of all that He speaks. He asked me, "What will you do, now, as I give you all power?" Well, things that fill my heart, that I have been believing God for, were there at the back of my mind. But the only thing I could think of was all the innumerable mistakes I make. My only response was, "Oh Lord, You alone have the wisdom to show me what to do with the power You say is mine."

But I am speaking, here, of the second of three things that we must fulfill before we will know the full life of Christ released in us without measure or restraint. That second thing is sometimes called "brokenness."

There are three things we must become before we will know all the life and glory that is presently ours.

First, we must become blind.

It is an interesting study, looking at Internet articles on deception. People arrive at my article on deception by various Internet search terms, so I try those same searches and look through the various other articles that people have posted on deception. The Internet is a great watering hole of those Christians who feel it is their calling to expose deception in others. I don't know how many sites I have found that list all the many religious deceptions in the Christian world and expose them. Invariably, everything I believe from reading the New Testament, is found in those lists, as well as my pastor, who is the most popular person today to denounce. I am amazed at the foolhardiness of those who, when God asks the question, "Who, then, shall bring a charge against God's elect?" are actually ready to step up and give answer. Who indeed?

But the most amazing thing I find in all of these sites or articles that are written to save God's people from the "deceptions," that will invariably cause them to "lose" their salvation, the writer always assumes that it is the other guy who is deceived. Never once does it enter their thoughts that they themselves, by the very same standards by which they call others deceived, are themselves incredibly in darkness. How many ever begin with the premise, "I am deceived"?

Almost all Christians believe that they can see. In fact almost all humans believe that they see, but Christians are the most obnoxious with their mistaken belief that they see all things as they truly are. This belief is really a mental disease - insanity. A bunch of blind people, convinced that they can see all things clearly.

I said that we must become blind. What I mean is, we are blind, we must come to know that we are.

I have known a number of blind people in Christian community, seeing them every day, worshiping God together with them. One thing that can be said about the godly blind people I have known is that they are the most trusting of individuals. In fact, one sees a joy of trust upon their faces. They know two things. First, they know that they cannot see. And second, they know that the one holding their hand, guiding them, can see.

I want to include, here, some answers in a response to a sister who was talking about other brethren, who though they have many great understandings from the word, in her words, "Reading those writings, I feel that my knowledge has been expanded on important things, but in my spirit, I get a sense of condemnation and hopelessness. In contrast, what you are teaching is full of God's mercy which brings hope and joy."

Here is part of my response.

Now, concerning this statement: (made by a leader in the other group) "to claim by faith, that what is spoken by the Word although apparently physically non-existent , but believing is really real in the spiritual realm, is presumptuous."

I am amazed at the hold outs and the ways in which we Christians have come up with to persuade ourselves that what God says is not true at all - not until we make it true. It is just another form of calling God a liar while pretending to believe in Him. Rather, "Let God be true, but every man a liar." In other words, what God says is the way it is, what man sees is a lie. In fact, that argument is the first argument raised against God - "Yea hath God said?" - "Did God indeed say?" Indeed, the idea that what God says is not true until we ourselves make it true, is incredibly presumptuous, I would think. Then it would become something like, "Let God be a liar until every man make it true."

[I want to write about David. God liked David so much because he was the most incredibly presumptuous man in history. He had no sense of propriety, he disregarded Moses utterly, he went straight into the Holy of Holies with his sin. The list of presumption is endless. God, who is the most adventurous being in the universe, loved every bit of it.]

Yes, we humans are created to live in both heaven and earth at the same time and we do. The problem is, we don't "see" heaven because we are blind, not because we don't live in heaven right now. But how can those who are blind describe what reality looks like?

Physical blindness is not like that. A physically blind person is usually a very trusting person. They have to be. They know they can't see. So they allow others to tell them what they can't see, and they believe what they are told. Then, believing that there is a chair right in front of them, a chair they can in no way see, they reach their foot out slowly and thus "prove" in their experience that what they were told and believed to be true is really true.

But it is not that way with man who is spiritually blind - and wears a beast skin. Man is convinced that anything he cannot see cannot be true, though God Himself tells him it is true.

I picture a blind woman I know. If you were to lead her by the hand into Buckingham Palace and sit her in the Queen's throne, and then tell her, "L___, you are seated upon the throne of the Queen." She would have no personal way of knowing whether you are telling her the truth or lying to her, no. But I can picture her face. She would be all aglow, she would look around her, and then she would say, "Cool! Tell me what I see."

God says that we are seated in the heavens upon the throne of Christ with Him. Most Christians will argue that since they don't "see" anything different, then it is just their "position," and now, they themselves must go on to "make their position their experience." In other words, they are convinced that they are in fact not blind, and that they can see all things as they really are and need not be told anything by anyone who can see what they cannot. This is the arrogance of the skin of the beast and the difference between one who wears a beast skin and one who is simply blind.

A blind person, upon hearing from One she trusts, that she is seated with Him upon His throne, will say with great excitement, "Cool! Tell me what I am looking at." And there are no religious theories anywhere near as they enjoy the moment together. He, showing her the glories of His Father's house and she "seeing" with all her heart what she knows to be true, simply because she knows that although she cannot see, He can.

For us to leave the skin of the beast, we ourselves must become blind. A beastly person is convinced they can see. A blind person sees all things by what he or she is told by the Beloved.

*****

This is why speaking what God says concerning us in the New Covenant is so important. As we speak what God says, His descriptions of reality fill our mind. The more we "see" His descriptions of reality, the more we see them. Everything God speaks becomes real to us because we believe what He says.

But if you believe that you can actually see, you will judge what God says by the sight of your natural eyes and you will decide that He is telling you stories that might be true, but aren't really. But you want to remain a "Christian," so you will create a theology that allows you to denounce as "presumptuous" and "deceived" anyone who believes, very simply, that what God says is true, in spite of what they "see" inside their humanness.

There is a saying, "In a land where all are blind, the man with one eye will be king." I don't know where that saying comes from, but it is complete nonsense. "In a land where all are blind, the man who can see is immediately crucified," is the reality.

There is a door into all the fullness of Christ. That door has three simple keys to stepping through it.

The first key is this. Let us be blind so that Jesus, who is the word God speaks, might show us what He Himself sees.

How does that work?

God says that you are filled with all the fullness of God. See God, in all that He is, filling you at all times.

God says that you are seated in the heavens with Christ - who is seated upon the throne at the right hand of the Father. See yourself sitting upon that very throne. You are not before the throne, you are in the throne, tucked into Him, looking out. Ask Him to describe for you what you are looking at, so that you can see as He sees. He will be delighted to tell you - but only if you are blind. If you think you can see, you won't believe a word He says.

I mentioned previously that we are seated upon a garden bench side by side and heart to heart with our Beloved. That's one precious way to see our relationship with Him. But don't be fooled. He sits upon no "garden bench." He sits upon the throne of His Father, and you sit there with Him. Ask Him, ask Him, to show you what He sees.

God says that Satan is crushed beneath your feet. See it so.

The other night, I awoke in the night, after a day of the joy of His presence, with as horrible of a crushing weight sitting upon my heart as I have ever known. It was all condemnation and darkness. I was not bothered by it, but battled for a position of faith as I always do. It did not leave right away, but then I began to wonder at the contrast between the day and the night. I thought to myself, "You know, this guy is assaulting me because of the holy place in the presence of God in which I am walking. Satan is terrified of me." My next thought, deep in my heart, was this, "Wow, this very assault is holy." The thing that was sitting upon me then gave a terrible, violent shudder and vanished as if it never was. To have its very attack seen as holy was more than it could bear.

God says that you are just like Jesus. See Him as He is right now, filling you. If you can "see" anything else besides Jesus when you look at yourself, then you are most definitely blind. The King of Glory fills your heart, how could you possibly see anything else.

See what God says and stop imagining that you can see any other way. And the simplest path I know to see what God says is to speak, yourself out loud, what God says concerning you.

Become blind, and let Jesus be your sight.

From: Daniel Yordy
www.dyordy.com

In all that God speaks, He speaks to you and me, personally, and He speaks to us face to face.

We used to think we were reading the Bible. But consider that God is eternal. We can no longer say that God spoke, we must say that God is speaking. And consider that God is omnipresent and that He reveals Himself through Christ.

The words on the page are no longer ideas that we contemplate.

Consider all that God speaks. Let's look at one word.

"Be ye therefore perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect."

The Lord Jesus is right now in the room with you. He is standing face to face with you, His hand resting on your shoulder. He looks you in the eyes and you in His. Then He speaks these words into your being. "Be ye therefore perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect."

Suddenly, those words are no longer fodder for theological discussions. This is the Creator of the universe speaking creation into you.

When God said, "Let there be light," did He expect the creation to discuss among themselves how, exactly, they were to do this thing they read about in a book?

We receive every word God speaks exactly as it is, a generation of creative life flowing from the All-powerful One into our beings.

Is there anything God speaks into you that is not?

Do we, like Peter on the water, turn around and look about us at all of life's imperfections and say, "How do I "DO" this?

This is how all Christianity has approached the words God speaks, and of course, they immediately sink. And you will sink faster trying to do any of the "Just As" commands of God than other words that are safer to read, so most Christians do not allow God to speak this word into them.

But there is never any need for us to turn away from His eyes, for we have no other life nor are we found in any other place. If, for a moment, we imagine that our eyes are elsewhere, we realize they are not. How could they be? We live in Him. Our forgetfulness does not change absolute reality as we once thought it had the power to do.

But if the Lord Jesus spoke these words into you face to face and eye to eye, what would that mean to you? Would you not receive those words as an impartation of life? Would they not flow into your heart in an overwhelming Spirit of transformation? Of course, you would not understand them. "Just as the Father?" No more than Mary understood.

But all words that God is speaking in the New Covenant, this is how He is speaking them to you and me and He has never spoken them any other way than face to face, personally, as an impartation of the creative power of Almighty God into your being.

Christ is God speaking into you.

How can such a word not fulfill itself in your life?

But what do we do with such a word? Or, should I say, how do we respond?

I am amazed at how few Christians understand the covenant they have entered into with God and how it is significantly different from the Covenant God entered into with the children of Israel. I am writing a long article on our Covenant with God that I will post on my website soon.

But lets look at the central point of the terms of each covenant.

First, the old.

Leviticus 18:5 "You shall therefore keep My statutes and My judgments, which if a man does, he shall live by them; I am the Lord."

Give this one verse to any Christian pastor as their Sunday text, and how many of them will concoct a sermon about how life is found in hearing what God speaks and being obedient to what He says.

Yet Paul, in Galatians, positions this very verse as the exact opposite of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the opposite of the Covenant you and I have entered into with God.

The New Covenant is based on this. "The just shall live by faith." That is, by believing that what God speaks is already true in us even as we receive it. And then walking by the reality of that word, not by what our eyes see in this world.

In the New Covenant, the only response we have to what God speaks into us face to face and eye to eye, is the response of Mary. "I belong to You. Let it be to me exactly as You speak." Now, Mary carried that Word in her belly through the process of its development until it came forth into the full light of day. It was Mary's faith; it was Mary's womb; it was Mary's body. But all the life and the power of that One growing inside of her belonged to God and to the Word which He had already spoken.

When a man plants his seed, most of that seed never finds the egg of the woman, never enters into that egg, and never brings forth its life.

But with God, every word He speaks, going forth, seeking faith, God continues to speak that word. He is always speaking that word and it is always going forth, seeking faith, seeking the seed of the woman so that it can enter into that faith to bring forth its life.

"Be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect" is such a seed, sent forth from God, seeking, down through the long centuries of the church, seeking, seeking, for what? Theologians who are able to explain just exactly what it means and why you need to be careful around such ridiculous things God speaks since you might get yourself into trouble if you take it at face value and try to do something with it? Is this what that Word God is speaking continues, always, to seek?

Mental gymnastics? Human explanations? Fleshy, religious efforts to "do" what God speaks, or worse yet, to impose it on others?

My God, this is God the Creator, standing there with His hand upon your shoulder, face to face, eye to eye, and He is speaking a Creative Word of the Spirit of Power into your heart.

What does He ask of you and me?

He asks us to believe what He speaks.

Listen, if you want to be a part of what God is right now doing upon the earth, then these words must be continually part of your conversation with God.

"I belong to you. Let it be to me exactly as You are speaking."

The world is insane. It is both growing more insane by the day, and our understanding of the extent of its insanity grows by the day. Yet, when the light turns on and we see all things as they truly are, everyone will be absolutely stunned at the levels of deceit and ignorance we all have embraced as "reality." I am speaking of science and medicine and government and finance - the list is endless.

The most dangerous religious cult in the world today is the US military. You send your children into it and it will brainwash them, strip from them their conscience and anything holy you may have imparted into their lives, and turn them into remorseless killers, able to murder innocent people without a thought. The US military is absolutely pathological and demonic. Devotion to Satan fills its upper levels. Yet the Christian church in America honors and exalts this wicked thing and waves its bloody killing flag inside the house of God!

Four and half thousand people died of a virulent, untreatable strain of tuberculosis yesterday, and the same number today and the same number will perish of this plague, one of the most horrible killers in history again tomorrow, and again the day after. Is it news? No. People die; it's part of life in this world. The "swine flu" is the mildest form of flu in years. Fewer people are dying from it than the normal death rate for the very mild killer, flu. Do not think for one moment that the reason that "swine flu" deaths, as mild as this season's flu is, are being presented to you by the image of the beast as "news" is for any other purpose than evil intent and the "vaccination" being presented as the "answer" as also of evil intent.

Yet this insanity is only the start. It is my purpose in this letter to exalt Christ, so I will speak no more of the specific insanities in this world, though the list is endless.

Most people want to be considered "normal." They don't want to be laughed at or ridiculed by "normal" people. Of course, in today's world, what is considered "normal" by all is that which is spoken into their lives by the image of the beast.

Everyone, however, senses that something is terribly wrong, out of control, off base, in the world today. And so everyone is sealing themselves off, walling themselves into what they feel most comfortable as "the truth." Positions are being hardened. Decisions are being made. Everyone "believes" in something. Most people are choosing to believe in the beast.

Why am I saying all this?

Since all are insane, let us also be insane. There is no better time in history to do so.

Let us take every single word God is speaking in the New Covenant, let us receive each particular word from the One who is speaking that Word into us, face to face, eye to eye. And let us believe that word with all our hearts. Let us receive every particle of life and power that is in the Word God speaks, and let us proclaim that Word as absolute truth at the top of our lungs.

"I am perfect, in exactly the same way that my Father in heaven is perfect!"

"I love others, in exactly the same way that God loves others!"

I overcome, in exactly the same way that Jesus overcomes!"

"I sit upon the throne of God in exactly the same way that Jesus sits upon the throne of God!"

"What I have, I give you, be healed in the name of Jesus!"

"Out of my belly flows the very river of the Life and the Power of Almighty God, bringing life and hope to all who pass my way!"

I know that it is insane to so believe what God says, but we are in good company.

Listen, if God does not prove these things in our lives in this world, then He is not God and He has never spoken. To believe in God a little bit, as most Christians do, is to believe not in God.

"Without faith, it is impossible to please God. For those who come to Him must believe that He is (the Word continually speaking) and that He is the rewarder (He fulfills all that He speaks inside) of those who diligently seek Him." Hebrews 11
